How to Clean and Care for PVC Cosmetic Bags
PVC cosmetic bags are easy to care for — a little routine keeps them clear, fresh and long-lasting. Here are the simple do's and don'ts we share with our customers.
Everyday cleaning
Wipe with a soft damp cloth and mild soap, then dry with a clean towel. Avoid strong solvents, acetone or nail-polish remover — they can cloud or crack PVC.
- Warm water + mild soap for normal cleaning
- Dry with a soft cloth; do not leave wet
- Inside: turn out and wipe seams gently
Stubborn stains & yellowing
For pen marks or stains, try an alcohol-free wet wipe or a paste of baking soda and water, rubbing gently. Keep the bag away from direct sun and heat so the plastic does not yellow or soften.
- Do not leave spilled cosmetics inside for long
- Store away from sunlight and hot places
- Heat-sealed / printed areas: wipe gently, avoid scratching
Packing & storage tips
Pack light, do not overstuff, and store pouches flat or slightly open. On trips, use them as clear organizers so contents stay visible at security checkpoints.
